Awesome product. Better than the spray can version as when sprayed out of the gun it doesn't seem to drip at all, unlike the spray cans.

The gun is excellent as are the tips. I found myself using the 90 degree bend the most since it was the most comfortable.

I couldn't get the slotted 360 degree nozzle to spray quite right but I'm sure I just need to increase the pressure to the gun and fiddle with flow rates.

Overall I'm very pleased with the product and will be purchasing more 5 gallon drums in the future.

Really good kit!, the pistol is more or less difficult to handle but as the website says, you get used to it, the liquid is just not enough for a car. I had to order a barrel, still really happy with the profuct!

Spray gun was easy to use and worked well. The product, which we warmed, went on easily and did not over spray onto other areas. Also doesn't make fog in the shop and has hardly any scent. Not sure about not needing to clean out the gun even though the website information says it is not necessary. I couldn't get clarification from them if that holds true if the spray gun is only used once a year.

Hello campers I’ve been using the Corrosion Free product for 4 years it’s the only one on the market to choose.

Product was delivered quickly, spray gun works very well. I warmed the fluid so it would spray better (it was cold out) and to my surprise it did not drip at all! Time will tell if it protects over the winter on my brand new vehicle but based on research I'm feeling confident in my choice.

Discovered this product based on the DRDC anti-corrosion study. I live in Eastern Ontario where salt and brine solutions are used >4 months a year and rust protection is a must. I've been using Corrosion Free 3000 for the last three winters and can attest to minimal dripping, great adhesion to metal, no smell, easy cleanup, and the creeping action is visible >12 months after application.

No rust has developed on frame, frame welds, drivetrain components, or body panels since I first started using the product.

I apply the product mid-summer when it's hot (25*C-30*C) to allow for maximum creeping into corners/seams/welds by winter.

The Applicator gun itself I'd give 4/5 stars. I upgraded to this RP-460HD gun for the attachments (wands/yellow lines for interior body panels and doors are great), but when applying to large surfaces (e.g. frame/undercarriage/suspension of truck) it was more difficult to regulate product application than I am used to.

This is a high quality kit with great spray nozzles/accessories. It's my first time using something like this, so it was a little bit of a learning curve with the trigger and getting the spray volume correct, but I'm happy to be doing this myself now. In my experience, the rust proofing shops just get the common areas and don't get into the frame and upon closer inspection there were many dry areas that should have been oily. I'm pretty picky, so now I can feel better about having it done right and to my satisfaction. I'll also end up saving money over the long run doing it myself. I sprayed a Ram 3500 everywhere including inside the doors, hood and tailgate with a 4L jug and still had some left over. The 45 and 90 degree wands are great, but the straight wand/360 degree nozzle doesn't spray very well and needs to be straightened out, a straight metal wand would have been better perhaps. Lastly, make sure you warm up your jug before spraying. I put it into a pail of hot water for 30 mins before spraying and give it a good shake. This resulted in the best viscosity to spray without sputtering and uneven spray patterns.

The gun and application hoses worked perfectly. It made the application of the product a breeze. I do not have a lift and I was easily able to coat my Ram 2500 truck in every nook and cranny. The hoses were long enough to completely coat the inside of the frame rails and cab corners/rocker panels. I was very thorough the entire job taking about 5 hours. If I can do it, anybody can. Great DYI project.

The quality of the spray gun is impressive, had no issues at all. Product sprayed well and did not drip. I sprayed in -5C, so I would imagine the system works quite well when it is warmer. All of the accessory hoses are well built, and seeing Made in Canada on anything is rare these days so that is a major plus.

I think this product will be good at preventing rust based on other reviews and studies. What was not made clear in the product documentation or phone conversation with the company is that you CAN NOT apply this product except when it is hot out. Saying that the product works better in warm weather is a big understatement - it should say ONLY APPLY IN HOT WEATHER. I warmed the product as recommended via a phone call with Corrosion Free, but once it hits the cool vehicle it doesn't flow/seep at all. It was around 10 degrees Celsius when I applied it. So it was frustrating trying to get the product to cover my vehicles and I used way more product than if it was warm out. I will try again when it is hot out and then I think it will perform much better. Also the 360 degree nozzle didn't work very well and was hard to trouble shoot once the slippery product was present, so I just used the other tips. Bottom line - if applying a rust inhibitor in cool or cold weather use a thinner product like Krown so that it is easier to apply and will seep into the small cracks.

Arrived the next day. Ready to use out of the box. Initial upfront price but overall I'm very happy with my purchase. Remember to tighten everything some leakage and mess can occur.

The DIY deluxe kit is the perfect all-in-one kit to rustproof your car, and the steep discount vs buying items separately makes it a no-brainer. Schutz guns are much cheaper, but I can't see how one could be precise and cover inside nooks and crannies thoroughly; those are for external use only, IMO. Pro gun is straightforward to anyone experienced with air tools/sprayer, even if you aren't just practice with water on a piece of cardboard first. Just keep in mind the product flows much differently as it's quite viscous.

It's now been a month since I applied, and despite low-ish temperatures (0-10 deg C) the product has crept and 'levelled' nicely over covered surfaces. Haven't seen any drips at all. Am keeping an eye on rubber door seals, etc. Would hazard a guess that people having issues with rubber or drips applied way too heavily; I think the idea here is it's like paint - put on just enough to 'wet' the surface and let it creep, don't cake it on so much that it runs.
